The service was very good as far as the serving staff are concerned, however the kitchen was very slow. This is supposed to be a high end restaurant so you expect to have to wait but we waited far too long. When our food came the steak was not done as I had ordered it but rather than wait longer I ate it. It was tough in parts with a lot of grizzel. Great flavours Good selection of single malt scotch
We enjoyed an excellent dinner from start to finish! I tried their Dine and Sip menu and was extremely pleased with the wonderful wine pairings and delicious courses. My husband said the seafood chowder was superb and also raved about his dessert selection. We hope to return soon!
We had an outstanding meal at the Masthead in Cowichan Bay! The service was excellent, the food absolutely delicious! The best meal we have had out in a very long time. Well done Masthead we will be back soon!
We enjoyed the special 5 course Valentines dinner with wine pairings last night. It was a lovely evening. The food was delicious, the service friendly and attentive, and the musicians added just the right atmosphere. You absolutely have to get yourself some of the maple bacon churros!!
We ate here one night while staying in Cowichan Bay. We chose inside as it was cool on the patio and inside had a lot more atmosphere than outside. The menu had lots of choice, especially the seafood. I chose the halibut and although expensive was worth the price. My wife had pasta which was also excellent. The wine list is decent and fairly priced. We didn't have dessert, but it looked good.
