The Smoke Pit - Salisbury

The grill here is the real deal. The Pur family remained today when a relative visited the area. What a great barbecue restaurant and I were in a lot of them. The portions are huge, everything on the menu is as good as we all shared our dishes and the service is excellent! This will be a regular stop when we are in town!

Amazing selection, good prices and great value. Service was great and we sat fast. Liquid Smoke Drink Couples very nice with BBQ and Cherry Lemon Sundrop w Tequila has a kick on it!

I googled restaurants in Salisbury near I 85 and chose this. (Friend on half way to lunch! I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly, and the food was great. Nearly one of the best BarBQ restaurants I tried in the area (Ft Mill North to Greensboro, so far lived here a year. It's an hour drive, but not bad, and really worth it on a casual day. Will return.

To eat here for the first time and was not let down. Sit fast even though they were busy. Waitress was quickly on the table, friendly and friendly. Our appetizers were in less than five minutes, hot and tasty. The main choices are too good and if you do not know exactly what you want, you will take forever. Once ordered, the food came quickly, very fresh, hot and again delicious. I had the burned ends, amazing and the potato salad is great and I am not even a fan of potato salad. Excellent time here and definitely back.

Quick, friendly service. Brisket had great marbling and flavor and stayed super moist. The ribs had a great flavor and weren?t dripping in a sugary sauce, and I?ve only had better burnt ends at one place. Okra was crispy and fresh, Mac and cheese had just enough cheese, and the sweet potatoes were deelish!! Definitely will be back when I?m in the area for sure!
