Dairy Queen - Salisbury

Went to this location today for their special on the Sundaes. We go practically every Monday and this Monday, I got what I get every time which is a vanilla sundae with pineapples and pecans. Immediately I could tell that the pineapples had a funny taste, so I told my mom to look at her sundae she got the same thing) and she could tell something was wrong with her pineapples by the look of them. So we head back to the store, to notify them. By the time we got back, my stomach had began hurting and I felt sick. I did not want anything else, but was told they DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS! They made it clear that they would make me something else but why would I want anything else from them, when I've already become sick??? Then I asked for a manager and was told, there isn't any just the owner. Then I was told that I can leave my name and number for the owner to contact me about my refund!! This to me is unacceptable. The young lady who took my information confirmed in front of other customers that she checked the pineapples and they WERE INFACT NO GOOD! If anyone who reads this review have any idea of how I can escalate this issue I would really appreciate any advice. I did not raise my voice, didn't even pull my phone out and record the young lady because we have too much of that going on in America, but to refuse to give me a refund is unacceptable. I should not be made to consume anymore products from this location when they have already gotten me sick.

Will give another chance. Let's be fair folks, every place has a bad day just as we ALL DO. Respect cash only, just be prepared. Love the vintage appeal. Girls were friendly. It ended there this evening. The Blizzards were mostly melted and soupy right out the window. And there was SO MUCH chunks of candy it was sickning and inedible. I basically suck the ice cream liquid off each moutfull and spit the chunks out. Worst made Blizzard ever.

Everything was really good, except that they did not have a few items that most Dairy Queens normally have. I suspect it was due to the current situation everywhere. People businesses are still not able to get all products at all times since Covid.

We love this place, they have very good cones with good flavors and very good service, plus affordable prices for all the products I recommend the place.

Great food and service. Love the 50s vibe makes a great cruise in stop with classic cars.
