Ihop - Salisbury

Breakfast was very good. However, after we ordered additional coffee, a rude man (manager? suggested we should leave because our booth was needed. We said that there are quite a few empty tables. No reply from him. We left and decided to go to Dennys for our next breakfast outing.

Apparently they were short staffed so it took us awhile to be seated and have order taken. The hostess was nice and even tried taking our order. Once the waitress came over she was friendly and made sure we were taking care of. Food was good. The reason for the 1 star review is because a male employee thought it was appropriate to send a waitress to our table with his number and a message saying he had been eyeing my 14 year old daughter. Once my waitress figured out what was going on she told her manager and the manager made sure the check was comped. The waitress that brought the number apologized. My waitress went over and beyond to make sure she apologized.

Our server Lala made my group's night yesterday! The service was top-tier! She anticipated our needs way before we even asked and just made the experience one to remember with her fantastic personality.

We visited IHOP to try their Willy Wonka-themed items. The Wonka Purple Pancakes were delicious, although they didn't quite match the pictures. The Hoverchoc Pancake Tacos were both delicious and true to their advertised appearance. The Fantastical Wonka Burger looked amazing and tasted good, but it could have used more sauce and seasoning. To wash it down, we tried the Dreamy Lemonade Prickly Pear flavor, which I personally enjoyed, though the kids absolutely loved it. The restaurant was clean, including the bathroom. However, our food took longer than expected to be served, despite the small number of patrons. Our server seemed a bit inattentive, as she didn't check on us for refills or anything else. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but the service left something to be desired.Kid-friendliness: My kids love going here.
