Food and atmosphere were both excellent, but special shout out to our server Lisa. Lisa was super accommodating, kind, and helpful with the menu items, and made us feel extremely welcome. This place was packed with people and a bit loud with the live music on a Friday night, but there was still plenty of seating available. The service took a minute to acknowledge me (as it’s “seat yourself” seating), but once they did, they were extremely attentive- when I ordered right away and asked for the bill, they took the hint that I was in a bit of a rush- and my food came out in like 5 minutes! The High Side Burger I got was fantastic- perfectly seasoned with plenty of melty cheese, well cooked- truly one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I’m looking forward to coming back next time I’m in Salida- and when I’m hopefully in less of a rush!
