We had a fantastic time at Fritz! It was our first visit, and we were delighted by the relaxed, beautiful outdoor seating, great beer, and delicious food! There were several wonderful vegetarian options, including the Aubergine and ricotta stack, ricotta and basil ravioli with asparagus and a fresh salad, and a divine mac and cheese (ordered without bacon). What Crystal dubeau doesn't like about The Fritz:
The bartender had a particularly aggressive reaction when my friend mentioned she didn't like the wine, even after he opened a fresh bottle for her. The waitress hardly paid attention to us and seemed to avoid her responsibilities, showing a lack of knowledge about the menu and giving us an attitude throughout our visit.

Awesome had the Bison short ribs small plate. The bones taste! We sat at the bar and had a fabulous service. I'll be back when I'm in Salida.
Grant and staff gave us exceptional service and accommodations so we could have our wedding rehearsal dinner at The Fritz. The meal was superb, and I also came away with a perfect wedding gift as well from the amazing local artists they support. If you're in Salida, you must stop by and have the Steak Frites!

I love the fact that you can get small plates or big plates here. I am a sucker for the bacon wrapped dates but everything I have had here has been excellent.
The setting lovely. The sardines and baguette, divine. The grilled romaine, manchego, and dates creative and delicious. Jackalope gin bring it on. I had not tried a Chilean sav blanc; it was perfect.
