The best bit of it all was they couldn't be mor... read more Lovely sit down café /restaurant at the bottom of the market square. Lovely shady and sunny options to sit down. The best bit of it all was they couldn't be more lovely staff/owners we had our two kids with us and they made sure they were fed first as they were so hungry. They were making jokes to keep the children occupied and were just so nice to us. They couldn't be more accommodating of my sub standard French without being patronising at all! Lovely meal and food.

They do great galettes with proper buckwheat flour. They didn't have my favourite combination (cheese, mushroom, egg on top) but were happy to make this for me. For the location and price I was very impressed.

Wonderful atmosphere on the square as the sun goes down we were there in August, music or markets (or both) most evenings and this restaurant is just on the edge of the action. Downside is its location makes it a little pricey for well prepared and presented but fairly basic food. Do book if you want a table its a small restaurant with limited space or get there early.

They were... read more We have been to l'Oustaou in the centre of Salernes, also being one of the few places that open late for lunch! We took 2 salty crepes and one sweet. They were delicious and ingredients were very good! The owners were very friendly as well! Recommended for a simple lunch or dinner with a nice atmosphere in the terrasse of Salernes
