Not sure who was running the night shift, but they were a solid minute from closing and told me not to worry about it. A gal with pink/purple hair, and I think a manager. Good staff, but clearly overburdened by the DoorDash Ubereats Grubhub orders. Dining in? Give it a 15 minute wait, minimum. I feel it's unfair to trash the staff bc they get no say so, but I also won't use gig orders bc I'm not a lazy pile of trash.Would love a location that values walk ins as much as predatory delivery companies. The staff here are friendly, but they seem overwhelmed by the influx of orders from DoorDash, UberEats, and Grubhub. If you're planning to dine in, expect at least a 15-minute wait. I think it's unfair to criticize the staff since they don't have control over the situation, but I personally prefer not to use delivery services—I believe in supporting the restaurant directly. I would greatly appreciate a location that prioritizes walk-in customers just as much as it does the delivery companies.
I always order the giant size because I like to save half for the next day. That’s when I was disappointed. The regular Philly reheats beautifully, but the chicken version was really dry, and I ended up tossing most of it away. On a positive note, the atmosphere was friendly, and the staff was very attentive when preparing my husband's cold sandwich. However, for the first time in 20 visits, I was not satisfied. Normally, I would give them a 5-star rating.
The #7 Turkey sandwich has officially become my favorite. I added extra turkey to it, and it turned out to be enough for two meals!
This seems to be an online order shop at this point. If you're coming in to place an order, be prepared to be overlooked. They prioritize every pending online order before addressing in-person customers, which I found quite surprising given the complete lack of customer service. There were three employees, yet none of them bothered to assist me. I even observed two customers finish their meals and thank the staff as they left, but they were completely ignored as well! Not even a simple "you’re welcome" or "thanks for coming in." At that point, I was the only customer left in the shop and still being ignored, so I decided to walk out and went to MOD Pizza next door (which, by the way, has excellent customer service). My visit was on August 3rd at 5:37 PM PT.
The food was excellent, and the service was lightning-fast. I really appreciated the customer service; the staff member was extremely helpful with my order. I had only tried a sandwich there once before.
