Th... read more I would like to rate this restaurant a 4.5 but it's not quite a 5, so a 4 it is. I arrived by myself without a reservations out 6:45 and was promptly seated. The wine list is good but not great so I ordered an old fashioned to start. Excellent drink made with local bourbon. I ordered the Penne Bolognese with a small(teeny, tiny) side salad with greens and a few rock hard croutons. Note to self, get the soup next time. There are no other salads On the menu other than the main dishes so this could be improved a bit. Either offer a slightly larger and better salad with the main dish or offer Some Small salads as Starters. The main dish was excellent as was the glass of Pinot I had with it. Service was very very good and friendly. Not sure there's a better place in Salem!

Most of us ordered different things and they were all excellent and the presentation was great! We also had dessert and it was also excellent. Inmy opinion the best thing about this place was the service.
