Ihop - Salem

I've been visiting IHOP since I was a kid, and their crepes and pancakes are incredible. Now that I've moved to Salem, I can say that the IHOP here is fantastic!

You do get a lot of food for your money;I will say that. Unfortunately, the main part of the meal, the biscuits and gravy, werent all that good. The biscuits tasted more like Red Lobster Cheddar biscuits than traditional southern-style buttermilk biscuits. That in itself wouldnt be so bsd, but the gravy wasnt authentic either. No sausage at all in the gravy, it was just white sauce with some pepper added. And lumpy. I suspect it came from a mix. The eggs and meat were ok, and the two-tiered container kept everything warm. I dont really care for hash browns, so I cant really be objective about them. I ordered them extra crispy; they were crispy on the outside but kind of soggy on the inside.

The breakfast sampler was excellent! It was also a fantastic value.

The food was delicious! The delivery arrived sooner than I anticipated, and everything was hot and fresh!

I visited IHOP with my family today around noon, and we had a great time. The Big Brunch Burger was exactly what I needed. They also offer curbside pickup, which is convenient. Overall, the hospitality was decent.
