Very friendly staff also very helpful, we dined in and had dinner. I asked for vegan options and there were plenty of options that could easily be vegan. The lovely lady that served us was very friendly and knew straight away what was vegan and be turned vegan. Lovely place for dinner and some good indian food! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Salt And Saffron:
Not very good at all. Chicken must be cooked fresh always so butter chicken was awful. No excuse! Nan very thin - Marlborough wine - Olverston really ordinary and not crisp and Marlboroughy. Wish I had gone somewhere else. View all feedback.

Valentine's Day dinner, stunning fresh, full bodied flavoured meals, the stunning layers of flavours within the dishes sensational, and a very quiet, friendly atmosphere. It's clear that the owners of the restaurant are very passionate about the high quality of food that they serve at a very reasonable price... highly recommend this restaurant
Some mixed opinions preceding but our family dinner was very tasty in all respects so I'll mark as a return next time wanting Indian food in Sale. My goat marsala was delicious but could have had more meat (served meat on bone pieces), spinach lamb was excellent as were the beef vindaloo and chicken tika. Samosas average but the paneer (cheese) sticks were delightful. Service friendly although mains took a while to come out. Good wine list.
I ordered take away from here - Chicken Tika and a beef vindaloo,,, What a complete waste of money,,, the food was below average,, the vindaloo tasted more like vinegar ! The samosa was awful and I have had better ones from a service station take away ! Even the nann bread was not good as it was chewy, I went here based on word of mouth and will never go back here again,
