This is a hidden gem and only savvy locals and travellers who know locals know about! The coffee is the best! There is limiting seating (6 people) but the aim of this place is to serve gourmet takeaway products to be enjoyed somewhere else. They cater for gluten free customers and sell unique local dry goods, wine, soft drinks, cereal etc etc. View all feedback.

It's so refreshing to find a high end, home made cafe in a small town with such high standards. I love the selection of good quality, healthy food options in this place. I almost always end up walking out with a lot more than I planned because the selection is so amazing! Great for a quick healthy snack on the go.
Went to a party on Saturday night, the Hunting Ground catered, the food was absolutely delish, the service was impecable, everyone was really happy with the food and presentation
Excellent take away coffee! Great flavour, drinkable temperature and sugar stirred in (a small detail that many places seem to forget!) Only a short wait for our order, which was easily filled in by browsing the many interesting products on display. Anyone after some more alternative ingredients/foods and wines (local produce, organic, vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, etc) need look no further! Plenty of variety to choose from. More ideal for take away as there is limited seating which I imagine filling quickly during peak times. Hardly an imposition, we sat outside in the sun anyway.
This café has been recommended on many occasions by my brother... and finally today I stepped through it's doors with my daughter. My daughter is quite shy and struggles with going out ...but she really enjoyed this café. First impressions are good with a range of organic produce readily available. If you are looking for a gift for a foodie... THIS is your place to find that unusual gift. After we had brunch ... we bought a few things before leaving. Depending on who serves you... they are quite warm and friendly. I am sure their barista usually has more personality, but today wasn't the day to see it. Although I can't fault the hot chocolate he made.. it was rich and ... well... extraordinarily good. The only disappointing aspect to this café is that there is limited seating. I could imagine it full even if it had adequate seating. Very akin to the better deli/cafes in Melbourne ... it was a delight to walk into. And would I return? Absolutely... I am yet to try the coffee that everyone raves about. :)
