We called in here for lunch today on the recommendation of a Greek friend who eats here often. Looks as if it could have been one of the first coffee lounges in Sale. Masia and Joe have been in business here for 32 years. It was great to buy some authentic Croatian food for my husband. Masia was very helpful and obliging and Joe entertained with his stories! We will be back for more!
It feels like it's been here forever. my brother brought me into this family business earlier when I was a teenager. fast forward and I brought my niece, nephew and daughter here for milkshakes after school. 30 years in the flash of an eye past. I thought for a tee and a roasted sandwich to breakfast this morning the service was big hearing device and all! the sandwich was tasty and the tee was average. nothing changes and this is the charm that it is consistently good.
At the end of the raymond street, just a few minutes walk from the center of sale. served large coffee and a lot of food.
Today we called for lunch on the recommendation of a Greek friend who often eats here. the place looks a little old and tired, but not being removed from the Croatian cuisine from the maize massif is hearty and the servings very generous for the tiny price paid. we did as our friend told us and left masia our meals for us-delicious filled capsicum, filled weeping leaves and kartoffels in a tomato sauce were my favorite, but all the things on my teller were delicious.
