This is hands down the worst food I’ve ever encountered! The entire restaurant experience was awful. From the moment you step into the foyer, it’s confusing; there’s no hostess, and a big wall blocks the view. You see a bar with overhead TVs and expect bar food, but once you’re seated, you’re served complete garbage. My daughter and I were looking forward to traditional hush puppies, but they arrived dripping in grease. The menus are cheap, printed on flimsy paper, which suggests they can’t even afford real ones. We ordered chicken fried steak, and it tasted like something out of a prison. I took one bite and couldn’t continue. After paying our $60 bill, I asked my daughter if she wanted to grab a cheeseburger somewhere else. Seriously, go anywhere but here!

We tried the hush puppies, pork chops, and burgers, all of which exceeded our expectations—what a delightful surprise for a small town! Our room had a balcony overlooking the pool, and we were pleasantly surprised by how relaxing the grounds were, especially given its closeness to I-35. The room was clean, recently renovated, with comfortable beds and nice linens. The hotel’s campus is walkable and quite charming. We will definitely stay here again.

From the atmosphere to the exceptional service, everything about this place is impressive. The menu is small and straightforward, yet the entrées are absolutely delicious. Stagecoach Inn is a quaint, tucked-away gem. I visited during happy hour and was delightfully surprised by the tapas-style specials they offered. There's a full-service bar by the pool that boasts stunning views and a wonderful ambiance. I can't emphasize enough how great this spot is; you won't be let down.
