gnats used to be amazing. first place I would eat at my annual visit to st. simons island. their salmon and scallops on their signatures were the top drawer. last three times, new owners, gradually went downhill. Yesterday it was just a simple bad eating. service still friendly and fast. but the food was fat, over fried, over boiled chicken were mixed with the fried pickles. the chips were dripping with fat. swim in... We took our daughter out for her birthday dinner at this restaurant. We were seated on the patio, where the waitstaff provided great service. The prices for food and drinks were a bit higher than we expected, but it seems to be the norm nowadays. There were a couple of tables with young children who were allowed to run around and play on the patio, which made it a bit loud. Overall, not a bad thing, just a little noisy. The restaurant also had music playing at 9 pm.
We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! We chose to sit outside and enjoyed the music playing nearby. Our server was excellent and very friendly. The food was delicious, especially the wings and grilled shrimp! The atmosphere was great, and we had a lot of fun.
Gnats Landing is a fun spot for large group gatherings. The service is excellent and it's easy to get in and out of. The food is also delicious. I love this place and will definitely be returning.
First time experience! Loud atmosphere but worth it! Outside seating area, great food and drinks, friendly staff!
Stopped here for lunch and to watch a football game. Our team didn't win (again), but the food and atmosphere was great!
