What A doesn't like about Cafe Frederica:
We had brunch here, grabbed a cinnamon roll, omelet, and a BLT. The food was good, but nothing special. The service was great and it is a quiet laid back atmosphere. Not bad if you're looking for brunch, but nothing out of the ordinary either. Fairly pricey for the amount of food. View all feedback.
This hidden jewel found this morning. The staff here is great and very attentive to their customers. The food portions are generous and full of taste from our seats where we are able to observe the kitchen staff preparing meals. My family really enjoyed this cafe and will definitely eat again here.
Delaney's owner also owns this breakfast place. A charming, picturesque little café with a welcoming atmosphere. Enjoy a wonderful breakfast. We had the custom ordered omelets and a plate of chipped beef on toast. These were excellent. This restaurant offers many sites, including land sinks, sausages, smoked salmon, house pastries and much more. Pancakes are a mainstay on the menu, so there is something for someone. Fresh coffee, iced tea, milk, orange juice and chocolate milk are on the menu. If you have breakfast on St. Simons Island when you find a place. You're really good. Very recommended.
Visit from Atlanta and heard from this place. loved our breakfast we ordered. I had the French toast with bacon and my husband had the egg and sausage sandwich. Both meals were excellent and our iced tea was the best we had on the island. Our server was very nice and friendly and quickly brought our food out. I can't remember her name. She told us about the other restaurant called Delaney that we will try. I wish we could have tasted lunch, but we'll be back when we visit St Simon's.
That was so good, I forgot to take photos! Skip the wait... the counter has open seats. We also need to see everyone working at the café were smiling and happy. Crab Eggs Benedict, fried eggs, domestic frits, cookies, sausage sword, cinnamon roll....big portions for the a la carte menu. Very recommended!
Amazing food and service! Local shop so definitely wanted to support local places. Very busy so recommend coming early otherwise there will be a wait. It is worth it and would definitely recommend to anyone!
