Contribute FeedbackThe suburban Italian restaurant received a mix of positive and average reviews. Customers enjoyed the friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and generous portions of pasta, pizza, and veal. Some mentioned the food could use more flavor, but overall, the experience was good. Families with children were accommodated with high chairs and quick service, while others appreciated the Italian wines on special offer. The homemade Italian dishes and warm service made the restaurant a hit for various occasions like Christmas parties and baby showers. Although the food may not be the most authentic Italian, it was deemed delicious and worth a return visit. Reservations were recommended due to the restaurant's popularity.
The gnocchi with rosé sauce is to die for! The calamari entré is excellent Can't go wrong with the spaghetti meatballs Large portions.
If you want to experience fantastic, warm, real service and fantastic Italian food come eat here.
There are a lack of decent restaurants in the St Laurent area Was hoping to have found a hidden gem, but not the case.
The service was quite ordinary. the kitchen too. one of the guests had ordered a crab paste and shrimp but the crab was absent: it was goberge! The owner told us that at the price we paid, we had to wait! The lasagna was pretty fade as well as the "al Limone" veal scalopes. Only one person loved the fish of the day.
I had bought a Groupon and decided to use it on a Saturday night. We had a 7:00 pm reservation and when we arrived they were already pretty busy. We were quickly seated by Elizabeth (a very seasoned waitress). She explained how the Groupon worked and left us for a few minutes to look over their menu. There is something in their menu for everyone. The pizza's looked very good.We started with a nice sized portion of deliciously fried Calamari. Next, my wife had a Caesar salad, which she said was nice and fresh. I ordered their Italian salad which came with a bit too much dressing for my liking. The salad contained black olives, tomatoes and artichokes (which they forgot to include). For our mains, my wife ordered Pasta "La Violetta", 3 different types of pasta. She loved it but took home a doggy bag. I ordered the Scaloppini di Vitello Marsala. It was nicely presented with 4 thin slices of veil cutlet in a nice brown mushroom/masala reduction. I thought the veal slices could have been a bit thicker. The spagetti with meat sauce was okay at best. The noodles were perfect but it was had to find the meat in their sauce. We passed on the dessert. Service again was very good. I spoke to John afterwards and he told me that this family run restaurant has been there for 26 years! Amazing. They are located on Thimens (corner Marcel-Laurin) in the small strip mall. You can order in advance or have it delivered. Enjoy.
