The owners, Louis and Felix, are super friendly and make you feel like part of their family. The ambiance may not be high class, but the service is attentive and the food is excellent. Their sandwiches are a must-try on the menu. While some may find the prices not matching the expectations, the overall experience of dining here is delightful. The cuisine combines tasty dishes with an Asian touch, making it original and flavorful. The wine list is diverse and offers good value for money. The staff is outstanding and welcoming, ensuring a pleasant culinary experience for every customer. Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit in Banff for a memorable dining experience.
Simply Amazing! A must. We will go back at least once a year!
This was a find by my cousin who has introduced me to this restaurants a few years ago. I had a great experience then, and am happy to see that their standards for service and food has not changed. The staff is quite friendly and the food is to die for. Expect it to not be for the person on a budget. Very difficult to pick something from the menu as so many delicious options. This time I was debating between the Bison medallion and the Crusted Lamb chops. I decided for the Lamb, and started with grilled octopus.
We are already planning 2 more dinners with friends and recommended it to other friends whom I know would appreciate this wonderful creative tasty cuisine.
It was a wonderful and unique dining experience in a warm and service-oriented environment. Worthy of repeat visits.
We had the Steelhead Trout Tartare $14) and Crispy Pork Hock $10) for our appetizers and the Fideua $27) and Gnocchi $22) for our main. I would potentially go back for the Tartare but the rest wasn't anything special. The pork was crispy but hard to cut and nothing spectacular taste wise and both the fideua and gnocchi tasted bland 1/4 into the dish something felt missing. Unlike some restaurants where you pay $40 $50 per person and you don't feel full, this place will let you know that you had a full meal. Service is slow as there are only two servers. They were both professional, helpful and friendly. Would I go back? If I lived in the neighbourhood and no other restaurants were open, maybe. But I don't really live nearby so I probably wouldn't take the trip to go there specifically for their meal and dining experience. Their bathroom decor/layout was done in a neat way though).
