We visited for lunch and were not disappointed! This was great chicken that tasted like it was homemade! It was clear that everything we ordered was made fresh just as we ordered it. The young lady who took our order even walked it out to us! Not being from the area we were not familiar with the restaurant. But the taters were almost better than the chicken. What User doesn't like about Mary Browns Famous Chicken and Taters:
I've tried Mary Brown's a couple of times and it just doesn't taste the same as the NFLD ones. It's fun to try but it's not a NB tradition by any means are there are numerous other restaurants that are better. Unfortunately, I found their chicken bland and their sides to be meh. It was also more expensive than what I'd like to pay for fast food. View all feedback.
The cashier named Linda was very disrespectful to our road painting crew from the province. We visit the restaurant at least once a week, but she is quite unpleasant. However, the food was delicious.
I really enjoyed the chicken dinner we had at this restaurant. However, upon my arrival, there was no chicken prepared and I had to wait 15 minutes for my food. I would suggest calling ahead to ensure a timely meal.
The service provided by the attentive staff was top-notch. The food was absolutely delicious.
Friendly staff. Great food. Clean restaurant. Awesome place.
Great location. So easy to get in and out of. Not much parking in front but lots of space around for other parking. Food was fresh and hot. Was not greasy like other fast food chicken places. Staff was friendly and helpful. Order was taken and made quickly. Lot of other people getting food but things rolled along well. I will be back many times. The washrooms were clean and well stocked. It was a bit chilly but this time of year is hard to control the weather and store temperatures.
