Britt's Pub + Eatery - Saint John

Britt's is a spacious pub located on a side street in downtown Saint John's. The pub offers a back patio and plenty of indoor seating. Although the entrance is not as prominent as some of its competitors nearby, it is worth seeking out. The highlight for us was the variety of rotating draught beers from various New Brunswick breweries. On Tuesdays, they offer a great deal with draught beers priced at just CA$5. We also tried the chowder and lobster roll, both of which were excellent. The chowder was rich and packed with seafood, while the lobster roll, although not overflowing with lobster, was still delicious.

Good food ! Nice attentive service. We ate breakfast in patio. Good place. I recommend it.

Just okay. Based on all the great reviews I had high expectations. Had the fish and chips. The fish itself was good. But the batter was almost gooey/rubbery not crisp at all. Had to scrap it aside and then just eat the fish. Service was good.

I had a veggie burger on a gf bun with a side of roasted potatoes. Plenty of options on a gf menu

Staff knew what was gf and knew what modifications needed to be made to make the meal gf. They did say they cannot guarantee no cross contamination, which to me says that they understand how careful they need to be for celiac customers.
