While not fancy in any way (you order at the counter and bus your own trays), Deluxe FF is a local favourite and has been for decades. Fish and Chips or other seafood and chips are why people go there, but they have other menu items for those who are not into seafood. It is excellent value for money and very popular with the locals, of which I am one. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Deluxe French Fries:
Deluxe used to be "the place" to go for great hand-cut french frys and fish. The last time we went the batter on the fish was overcooked and dripping with grease. It looked like it had been cooked previously and then put in the fryer again to heat it up. The french frys were limp and soggy. The fish was very small and definitely overcooked, hardly worth the price. The fries were decent, but compared to the larger portions at Fredericton's Deluxe, I was left feeling disappointed. I usually love dining at Deluxe, but this time was a letdown. Sorry.
The clam chips were slightly undercooked for my liking, still white instead of being fried to a golden brown as they should have been.
A great place to grab some seafood, but I also highly recommend the club sandwich platter. And the fries are one of the best.
This restaurant is supposed to be known for their fries, but all we got were small pieces of the ends. My burgers were supposed to be cooked medium rare with K/R, but instead I received mustard and onions.
Brought my 2 grandkids there last week with my wife and I 2 regular fish and chips,chicken fingers and fries and a club house platter the worst food ever!! everything was a over cooked the fish nuggets only had batter on one side making the fish hard and dry,chicken fingers same way over cooked!! not to mention the dry turkey on the club with maby half a tea spoon of mayo its to bad it used to be one of the better ones will not be returning
