Chuckles Lounge - Saint John

I decided to visit this restaurant last minute after reading the positive reviews online. All of the comedians were funny and the drink service was excellent. The tickets were affordable at under $25. The owners, Shane and Julie, were very friendly and made sure to chat with all of the patrons. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun night out.

I don't think there were many talented chefs at this restaurant when I visited, as the appetizers were very disappointing. There was nothing special to try here, and it kind of felt like just a regular dinner experience.

This lounge exceeds expectations in every way possible for its type of establishment. From the chilled glasses and variety of beers on tap, to the stylish jukebox and friendly staff, to the complimentary pool table, it stands out as more than just your average dive bar. The pub food is simple yet delicious, prepared with care by the cook. The bartenders, cook, and servers are all attentive and engaging. The prices are affordable and ample free parking is available. Overall, this bar is a step above your typical cheap and cool hangout spot.

I came here with friends and had heard great things about food, etc., so I was very excited. The menu left much to wish for regarding standard formula. I had the potato nachos and deep fried edible picks. Everything was good, but not amazing. Okay, if you're not eating and want to scrub a bit.

We both had the fish and chips lunch special. It was excellent fish, great batter very light and crisp. Only issue no fresh cut fries, but his frozen fries were the best I've had. We will return because the table next to us had potatoes nachos and they were excellent according to people who ordered them.
