The buffet at this restaurant is small but very good. The restaurant is exceptionally clean. I will definitely return in the future. The prices are excellent. A must-try! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about China Kitchen:
Ordered at 1:45 on New Years Eve day for pick up at 6:10. Order was $60.00 plus. I ordered early as this is a busy time for all restaurants. Waited an hour once I got there and only got my order when I told them to keep it. Food was cold, staff was rude and it will be the last time I go there. View all feedback.
With new owners I hoped the promise of decent food would be a welcomed surprise.. it was not... made the mistake of taking the lunch buffet... HORRIBLE! The food was cold, chicken balls tiny, rice not even stir fried, greasiest egg rolls on the planet and bland.. ribs.. cold... I was the first person in there... they had a salad bar that looked picked over from the previous day buffet...some bland disgusting stir fry of cabbage and bean sprouts.. there was some lo mein stir fry that was somewhat passable... it is as gross as it was the first time... When I read the reviews and people give this anymore then one star it makes me wonder if anybody has ever had good North Americanized Chinese food...or whether they have ever had good food period. If you have a brain in your head and a desire not to go back in the kitchen and ask why they feel the need to insult people and take their money with this slop.. I suggest you stay away from this place.. they do not care about serving good food.. For what it is worth, I can say the waitress was friendly...
The food and service was beyond compare! The serving sizes were very large so we left very full and very happy.
Expensive menu, cheap food. Ordered General Tao and Szhezuan chicken, as well as a noodle dish. The noodles were the cheap stringy kind you find in food courts in malls, and the chicken dishes were extremely undercooked. What chicken there was anyways, it was 85% vegetables. Not worth the price at all.
We hadn't stopped in here for a few years due to changes in our travel plans, but this year things worked out and we were able to stop in. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we could tell it was under new management - newer decor, new flooring, and they now offer a buffet. We were just slightly early for the buffet so ordered off the menu.We each ordered a combo plate....lots to choose from too! Both of us thought the portion size was great..I think 6 large chicken balls per plate. Veggies were cooked nicely, rice was good. We both enjoyed our meal tremendously with the exception of the egg roll and plum sauce. The filling in the egg roll seemed to be all cabbage, no meat and the plum sauce was different from any plum sauce we have ever seen before...didn't care for it all.Having said that, the egg roll/sauce issue will not stop us from returning if we can. The meal itself was good enough to bring us back, along with the efficient and cheerful waitress.
We ate at China Kitchen tonight for the first time. Restaurant was clean and the waitress was super sweet and patient as we had a hard time deciding.Food was hot, looked amazing and tasted EVEN better! OMG best chicken balls and egg rolls, you'll ever eat. The egg rolls were SO good i ordered extra to take home. Thanks China Kitchen for the great experience!
