We stopped here for dinner when on a road trip through Canada. Conveniently located, we could walk from our hotel. Happened to be there for happy hour so beers were cheaper. They had an excellent selection, including sour beers which is my favorite. The food was good, both the chicken and waffles poutine and the Cubano sandwich. Service was great too! View all feedback.
My partner and I were uptown for the Moonlight Bazaar and we foolishly did not make a reservation. After walking around for a while we found Britt's had a few seats left in their bar. I must say on such a busy day the staff were on the ball, moving quickly to seat and serve people. We did not wait long at all for our drinks, even though our server made them herself. The food was out quickly for such a busy night, and it was delicious! Most impressive of all, even though they were busy, they never made us feel like we were rushed. That to me is the most important thing, I don't want to feel rushed out the door if I'm giving you my business. Very good work from the team! Keep it up, you guys rock!
Our favorite place in St John’s so far! Ashley was an amazing server. All of the food was excellent. Pickles, soup, haddock fish chips, salad, fries (really good).
Service was amazing.. the fish tacos and fried pickles were delish.. kids friendly , poutine however was not what we expected or got used to ... Other than that cannot complain.. def worth visiting..

My partner and I stopped in for dinner on July 29. We stood at the Please Wait to be Seated sign for several minutes and were not acknowledged in any way even though I had made eye contact with a server who then quickly looked away. After a time a server came over and said We don 't have any space except the bar, is that fine? . There was no friendly greeting, no acknowledgment that we 'd been waiting, nothing. We were then sat at the bar and given menus. The bartender also did not acknowledge our presence even though he walked by us several times. After another few minutes go by without so much as a sorry, I 'll be right with you we decided to take our business across the street to Bigtide Brewing where we received prompt and friendly service.I understand when restaurants are busy it isn 't always possible to receive service immediately but it takes three seconds to say hi there, I 'll be right with you. Table touches go a long way and we received zero acknowledgement. We will not be back.
