Barred Rock Chicken - Saint John

Tasty southern style chicken. A nice change. Breading is a little heavy for me but my kids like it. Just a little spice sets it apart from anything I've had around town. Good job.

This new place is located in Market Square, the food court area, locally owned I believe. They serve a assortment of Chicken meals, Fried Chicken, Chicken Strips, Chicken Sandwiches, Chicken Poutine so on. Because it's Butter Milk batter it looks like it's burnt but the batter and Chicken is actually tender . It's not as Salty as the national places ,so if you don't like it real salty then you will probably like this version of fried chicken , the potato salad as a side was really good, Prices are a little higher than the competitors and service was ok, in all worth giving it a try

This restaurant is a must-visit while in San Jose and should be on everyone's list.

After a tiring day of traveling, I was craving a burger and a beer. I always enjoy trying out local breweries, so I was excited to unwind with some delicious food and drinks.
