Johnson Creek Tavern

It was a pleasant experience. The portion sizes were decent. The food was similar in quality to Captain D's but priced like typical tourist spots. While the food is an important aspect, the main focus here is on drinks. The interior of the restaurant is really impressive and definitely worth checking out! There are also pet-friendly outdoor areas.

I can't recommend this place enough! The food was amazing, the views were stunning, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We dined here multiple times during our vacation, and we will definitely return whenever we're in the area.

Super friendly. A necessary location near the end of the highway at the beach. Great crab cake sandwich and pub fries. Very cool hostess bartender. Kind friendly guests who almost got me drinking again. Lol.

Off Season no problem pulling in. Apparently not possible in the warm months. This suits me fine. As does this cup of Spicy Shrimp Gumbo. The oyster Po Boy was perfect. It is high oyster season here in the low country. Oysters available by tje bucketful.

The closest restaurant to Hunting Island. Service was quite good. The view is very extensive, kind of cool, flatlands, grasses. My mahi mahi BLT was uncut, thick with the mahi cooked correctly. The fries were clearly frozen with stuff on them. I asked if I could change them for onion rings, that was better, although a bit chewy. The coleslaw was swimming in mayo. The place has character, I'd go for the drinks.
