We have stayed a number of times at this Hotel (since 2018) after it was completely renovated and redecorated. We were pleasantly surprised during our recent stay (August 2023) to still find the Hotel in a tip-top excellent condition, just like it was a few years ago! We were pleasantly surprised during our recent stay (August 2023) to still find the Hotel in a tip-top excellent condition, just like it was a few years ago! Rooms: Although rated (by the owner) as a 6 Star Hotel, I have to remove 2 stars due to the following. We watched the Springbok All Blacks test in the room, and the size (32 inch) of the TV does not match the immaculate room decorations and finishes! The quality of the video was also worse than an old VHS cassette! Definitely not HD like we are used to. Secondly, the WiFi speed is appalling! I measured less than a Mbit per second!
