I travel a lot and visit many barbecue restaurants, so I've had my fair share of brisket. Unfortunately, I often find that it's not prepared well. However, the brisket here was among the best I've ever had. The service was efficient and friendly, the portions were generous, and the prices were quite reasonable. Absolutely terrible! I've been here about 3 times over the past 6 years we've lived in the area. It was bad every time. I figured maybe they'd get better but always leaved disappointed. This past trip I got brisket and turkey. The turkey was literally same stuff you get in the lunchmeat section of the grocery store. It was pressed meat. Dried out over cooked meats burnt onion rings. Wouldn't recommend this place
Willie Jewell's is a great gift to WGV! Close to home and delicious, Willie Jewell's never fails. My favorite is the BBQ sandwich with a delicious side. After a long day of Florida heat, this place is a must!
