Purple Olive - Saint Augustine

We visit the Purple Olive every time we're in town. Everything is fresh and made from scratch, offering options for everyone. It's much better and more affordable than the upscale restaurants in Atlanta! The owner is also the chef, and he's always cooking whenever we go. It's our favorite spot in St. Augustine!

We had a great experience at Purple Olive. The lamb chops, short ribs, filet mignon pizza, and roasted olives were absolutely fantastic. We ordered a Malbec but found it to be a bit too warm. Additionally, I was disappointed that the chef wouldn't let me take my leftover bones home and instead disposed of them. That felt a bit unsettling!

The atmosphere is fantastic, and the food is delicious. The service was excellent and very welcoming. I highly recommend this place and can’t wait for our next visit.
