Crème De La Cocoa - St. Augustine

I had a fantastic experience sampling the incredible wedding cake options with my fiancée. Meghan was wonderful; she assisted us with all our questions and made the whole experience enjoyable. We can't wait to return and try more delicious desserts!

I ordered a birthday cake for my husband, and it was fantastic. I emailed them while they were closed thinking I wouldn't get a response, and they replied right away. On the day of pick up, there was a big rainstorm, and we were no longer coming to St.Augustine that day and were planning on coming a few days later. I called to see if they could freeze it for me until I couldcome, and they did one better. They asked me what day I was coming and made me a new cake instead!!! It was delicious andbeautiful. So perfect. Love this place so much. When I went to pick up the cake, they had almond croissants. I got a few, andmy husband said they were better than the ones he used to get in New Orleans. NOTHING is better than something from New Orleansto him. Thank you so much, Creme de la Cocoa!

Called on a Thursday to order a carrot cake for Saturday but they were no longer taking orders. I was told they would have a variety of cakes available on the shelves on Saturday if I just come by, so that's what I did. Saturday morning, less than anhour after opening, they had two cakes on the shelf. I got the Chocolate Chocolate cake. I love chocolate cake. Unfortunately,this cake is mostly frosting, very little cake. In fact, there appears to be more frosting than cake. It looked fantastic onthe outside, I just wish it had more cake. Taste was ok, very rich. The cake was $45. Probably won't purchase from here again.

What more can I say? This cake was absolutely breathtaking! Even before I had the chance to see it myself on my wedding day, the venue staff were coming up to compliment its stunning appearance. Not only was it beautiful, but it tasted even more incredible! I had guests asking for leftover cake the next day! I wholeheartedly recommend them for your wedding cake! My experience with them was perfect in every way. From the excellent customer service provided by Bailey, to the chef consultation, and even the delivery – everything was outstanding!

For our cake flavors, we chose their Florida Native for one tier, and they also whipped up an incredible amaretto crunch cake for the second tier! The team surprised my husband with his very own grooms cake featuring the Florida Native flavor, which he absolutely adored. Additionally, we had mini cups of their Southern Belle pecan pie and an AMAZING churro cheesecake. They even created delightful peanut butter and jelly cookie sandwiches and bourbon balls made with St. Augustine distillery bourbon for our guests to enjoy. No detail was overlooked, and people are still raving about our desserts almost a month later! Visiting Creme de la Cocoa bakery has now become a must-do whenever we are in town. A huge thank you to Bailey, Nils, and the entire Creme de la Cocoa team for making our wedding desserts so unforgettable!
