My wife and I went on Christmas Eve. It was my first time in a time. It is difficult to eat somewhere like Red Lobster when we have so many local seafood in St. Augustine. I will say that; they have not disappointed at all. Prices have risen in recent years, but the quality of meal and the quality of service were definitely worth it. The food was hot and fresh. The serving sizes were large and the service was excelle... View all feedback.

From the beginning I knew I would be a bad experience. We were not greeted by any of the 3-4 associates gathered around entrance podium. Once we were acknowledged we were told it would be a 25 minute wait but I could see 4 empty tables.Once wait was up we were seated me and my party saw it was more than 15 empty tables.Drinks were very slow to come and our entrees took more than an hour and a half to come out of kitc... Went early to avoid crowd on Saturday 9/9/23. Seated quickly. We ordered crab legs, salmon Maine lobster tail. Orders came out a ' la carte. My wife 's crab legs first. 5 minutes later my salmon with no lobster tail, waitress said one more minute on lobster tail.... Ate the salmon shrimp and veggies. 10 minutes later I told my wife I was just going to cancel the lobster. Before I could get waitress attention the lobster came out. Warm not hot. Lobster tail for dessert... Not what we are used to from Red Lobster. We chose them because no other seas food restaurants in St Augustine seem to have seas food. All their menus had local fish. No crab. No lobster. No clams. The food other than the lobster were the usual high quality and tasty sea food we expect from Red Lobster.
Went here today for lunch. Decided to try their steak and lobster with shrimp deal and a double order of Orzo rice. My daughter wanted the grilled shrimp with orange wedges and my friend had the chicken pasta. Food took a bit to get to us. When I got it, my daughter's order had popcorn shrimp instead of grilled shrimp, so we had to get that remade for her. My shrimp were coated with what I was told butter, but the coating was so thick, I had to wipe it on my napkin. When I cut into the steak, I noticed it wasn't rare either, it was Well. They remade it. But it was medium. I was too hungry at that point to care. The lobster was also bland. I had a better lobster tail at outback steakhouse last night. And that's a steak restaurant. I know I shouldn't order steak at a seafood restaurant, but if you offer surf n turf, please know how to cook it. Probably will be keeping Red Lobster off the menu, especially since we were informed so much stuff was premade.
As an avid, seafood lover, this has become one of our favorite places! and I'm not really a chain restaurant person. The food is always delicious, portions are large and prices are fabulous! I'm a reward member, so they always give me something free too! The staff is super friendly, and always very prompt. Like many places after the pandemic they were short staffed, but having a few cocktails as always a good idea while you're waiting for dinner
Red Lobster CLOSED in St Augustine Beach Florida!! Closest one now 32 miles!! We were looking forward to Valentines Supper at Red Lobster. Not now.
We have always loved RED LOBSTER. Went to our local one in SA on Aug 8 mid afternoon . Lots of empty tables but we're told it would be about a half hour wait due to lack of staff. A shame that so many food establishments can't find good reliable help. Hoping they can get people there that need a job and want to work.
