The Kookaburra, Dondanville

I’ve been here many times, and still love all of their coffee selections. Can truly say it is a local treasure. You must try the honey badger! It is one of the best coffee choices on their menu!!

Cute and tasty small local chain. They have all of the usual go-tos (their shot in the dark was bold and smooth), but they also have some very unique Aussie inspired specialties.

This was my second visit to this restaurant, and I decided to give the Aussie pies another shot. Unfortunately, it seems like luck isn't on my side. Both times, the pies were lukewarm and dry. I went in the morning, so I expected them to be fresh. I understand that they bake them in advance and keep them under heat lamps, which can come with its own set of issues. This place has fantastic reviews and is conveniently located near my home, so I'm eager to see what most people are raving about. I'll likely give it another try.

I absolutely love Kookaburra! Here's my experience: I ordered takeout for breakfast, and it was fantastic. The price per person was very reasonable, ranging from $1 to $10. I would rate the food a perfect 5, as it was delicious. The service was also outstanding, earning another 5. Plus, the atmosphere gets a top rating of 5 as well. Highly recommended!

This charming local coffee shop is fantastic! The pumpkin spice latte contains real pumpkin, and it's absolutely delicious. The pastries are always fresh. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 out of 5.
