Fairly busy at 1200 on a Sunday. (I noticed that it was a lot less busy, starting at 12:30).We had the Smokehouse (2 eggs, 2 sausage patties, a biscuit and hashbrowns) and Corned beef (2 eggs, corned beef, grits and toast) for brunch. We also enjoyed a Pina colada, tequila sunrise and a poinsettia. The drinks were very good and came out quickly, considering how busy it was. The food was tasty and did not take long at all.The atmosphere was very 50's with an eclectic music selection (music from the 60's, 70's and 80's) but it was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful- we were put on the waiting list (told 35 minutes) then the bartender told us a hightop table was available- total wait time was 10 minutes.
Best brunch place in all of st augustine! Alcohol/mimosas available every day of the week. Sarah always takes such great care of us when we come in. She manages/owns the place and is always working hard for customers. We regular here at least once a week and never have a bad experience. If you’re local or just visiting our town… this is a MUST eat place! I’d give 10 stars if i could.
Had an amazing brunch experience at the beachfront diner today! Holly is THE BEST server! Going out to eat with 2 small kids is hard but the menu is extremely kid and allergy friendly. The food was so good we kept ordering more things to try. The waffles are superb by the way.. there wasn’t one food item that wasn’t amazingly good. Plenty of inside and outside seating. Plenty of parking. It was a really good experience and we’ll be going back soon! So glad we stopped and tried it! And I don’t have any food pics because I couldn’t stop stuffing my face long enough to take any.. it was really really good ?
A great menu with so many diverse, interesting original combinations that will keep you curious to come back and try more. I wasn?t crazy about the Crab and Shrimp Benedict (it wasn?t bad) but I?m giving this place 5 stars just for the Bloody Mary, potatoes, hash-brown casserole, atmosphere, and service. It?s a wonderful diner and I?m really excited to try more items. Thewaffle on the table next to us looked delish. There are some fantastic options for breakfast, brunch, and lunch and I can seewhy people keep coming back.
It started off rocky with the service and was going to be a low star review but the food was really good. Our wait for a Sunday was 30 minutes which is not bad for a busy spot on the main stretch. We sat on the patio outside but didn?t get no service for10 minutes than the waitress had an attitude when they came to our table after we had to find someone to get our waitress. Asthe meal went on her attitude somewhat got better. Beside my complaint above the food was on point. I had the surfer Sarah whichwas very good and filling. Other at our table had breakfast bagel, sunrise tacos, and two classic breakfast. Very large portionsand everyone had nothing to say about the food. We will try it again for lunch or dinner on our next visit. The OJ wasdefinitely not fresh.
