We arrived a... read more I’ve read that others have had similar experiences to mine and my grandmother’s today. The thin older blonde waitress was very rude and unfriendly. We arrived about 15 minutes ago and she seemed annoyed that we wanted to order lunch. When we decided to leave for another place, she said she would go ask the chef and walked away looking angry. She made us feel uncomfortable the entire time, as if we were being bothersome. My grandmother’s soup was cold and the fries were poorly cut. It’s time for some better service!

I had to initiate the conversation and ask if she was ready to take our order. As a group of four from the service industry ourselves, we couldn’t help but notice how miserable she looked. Our food took longer than expected to arrive, and it seemed like tables that were seated after us received their meals first. When our food finally came, my burger was only lukewarm and nothing special. The portion sizes were fair, but the fries were disappointing—they definitely needed fresher oil. We decided to order dessert but opted for takeout since the guys were on bikes and we wanted to avoid the rain. When the check came, our party of four had a total of $94. Seriously?! They charged us a dollar for the to-go containers but didn’t even provide forks to take with us. Overall, I wouldn’t want to return here, and I’ll plan our outings better in the future to go somewhere we enjoy. I was generous to give this place three stars.
