To my good... read more I was worried after having a mixed experience at the Grill at the Palace. I was expecting an average food, pricey with somewhat of a pompous service. To my good surprise, the menu was quite extensive and the food excellent. Pasta Gildo, veal milanese and legato ala venezia were all perfect. The service was efficient and professional. So far my experience of the Palace restaurants are that the Grand Restaurant and Gildo's have their act together with excellent cuisine and service as to be expected in this hotel. At la Fromagerie and the Grill, my experience was disappointment (see the specific reviews)
