Had light lunch and coffee and cake. All delicious. Excellent service. I would compare it to Betty's, but nowhere near Betty's prices.
A great cafe. The cakes we had were delicious. It's quite small to fit a buggy in, however, staff asked us to wait until a bigger table became free so we could fit in. The homemade Battenburg cake was delicious.
We had a great experience at this charming cafe for lunch. The service was top-notch. I enjoyed a tasty prawn sandwich and my husband had a satisfying smoked chicken sandwich, both served with a side of salad and crisps. Although we were too full to try the tempting cakes, we definitely recommend this place.

We dashed in out of the rain to a warm welcome and great coffee. Sweet treat choices are kept interesting by having tart/frangipani/traybake etc of the day. Portions are generous and utterly delicious.
