Contribute FeedbackNestled in the countryside, this charming pub offers a mixed bag of experiences. While some diners rave about the delicious, home-cooked dishes like the pork belly and steak pie, others are disappointed by bland flavors, particularly with dishes labeled as spicy. Service varies, with reports of friendly staff and warm welcomes contrasted by moments of indifference. The atmosphere is inviting, especially with a cozy open fire, though some find it lacking in vibrancy. The pub also boasts reasonable prices and generous portions, making it a potential gem for visitors seeking hearty meals and a relaxed ambiance.
Called in for what would have been a couple of pints but just had one. Lovely open fire which was perfect for the murky October day we went. Not a huge choice of beers which is to be expected (village pub). Not a particularly welcoming atmosphere, not hostile by any means but not friendly either. Had kittens outside which was great though. Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Last minute booking as a social event, nice homely bar, lots of outside space, plenty of parking, good food, reasonably priced, decent drinks selection too, much to my delight. Parking: Ample parking. Kid-friendliness: Park on site for the kids. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5
