This taproom at a brewery offers good beer brewed right on site. The camping facilities are basic, with no lights or hot water in the bathroom block, but the affordable price reflects this. We didn't dine there as the vegetarian options were limited, but our friends seemed to enjoy their meals. Overall, it was a decent experience. View all feedback.
What redflowerpower doesn't like about The New Inn:
Stayed at the new inn last weekend for one night, we did the brewery tour as well which was interesting but quite short, The room was clean and adequate but a bit dated, overall ok but needs the rooms refurbishing as looking tired and the... View all feedback.
My partner and I visited this restaurant based on a recommendation, bringing our 7-month-old baby with us. We felt unwelcome from the start, as we were seated in a corner away from the main bar and were not offered a high chair for our child. We had to get our own menus as none were provided. After assessing the situation, we decided that this place was not for us. The atmosphere was lacking, and I have been to libraries with better vibes.
We were in log cabins not far away, used this pub for evening meals. We ordered 3 meals, staff very friendly, Fish chips Special of the day Roast dinner Good sized meals, great food, nice local beer. If in the area again we wouldn't hesitate to visit again
Booked my husband, a brewery tour for Christmas and visited yesterday. The tour was fantastic. Very informative and fun. Josh, the tour guide, obviously loves his job and knows his stuff! We enjoyed a two course meal in the pub afterwards, and the food was out of this world so fresh and delicious. We’ll definitely come again, especially in the summertime as the beer garden looked too nice not to try!
Rooms clean but very small Food good Dogs on seats in bedrooms barking through the night Wouldn’t recommend unless you want to sleep with your dog
We booked a table for a meal. On arrival was met by being told where our table was, given menus and told to order at the bar. After an hour of ordering our food arrived, firstly being taken to the wrong table. On telling the waitress she put in down on the bar and said i will be back in a minute. The food was very good and couldn't fault it. The staff however didn't have a clue apart from one kept saying we are so busy. From our observation if you were staying in a room you got preferential treatment. Sadly we didn't feel welcome enough to go back. Staff unwelcoming and had no clue what they were doing.
