The fish and chips and peas are the best I ve eaten in years and years. I usually don't eat the chips but they must use better frying fat here as even the chips are delicious. The fish is large and wholesome and very tasty. The batter is delicious but so perfectly cooked that you can get it all cleanly off the fish if you don't want to eat it. The lady behind the counter doesn't say a lot but she's OK. It's freezing... View all feedback.
What Max Senger A doesn't like about Stuarts Driffield:
Must been running low on chips as the last three times I've gone I've been given a nearly empty bag older lady at the counter doesn't make you feel very welcome either despite trying to be nice to her. View all feedback.
An older woman was rude when she called Thompson's restaurant. My apologies to the chef who prepared the meal.
This fish and chip shop doesn't offer cod on their menu, but they charge as if they do. Not worth the expense for what they offer.
The portion of chips was normal, but the fish was subpar with too much batter. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
The food is great, although I was disappointed in the chip portion. Must say I didn't feel welcome at all. The older lady serving wasn't pleasant...
Everything is good about the food but I find the lady who serves behind the counter blunt to the point of being down right rude.
