The cafe has seating both upstairs and downstairs, with the restrooms located upstairs. We chose to sit down and I ordered a delicious homemade quiche. I also purchased a lavender scone to take home, which was very affordable and had just the right amount of lavender flavor. Despite some negative reviews, our experience was excellent. I would definitely return to this cafe and prefer it over another cafe we visited in Thornton Dale.

We called here a few days ago, as we were already on the road and needed a pre-primence. the sign outside said they were supposed to sit, and another one said they were open, despite the door closed. at the opening of the door we were rude and wanted to put ourselves so far away from other customers. (there are only four or five tables and were occupied) which was understandable. we could see the two employees, they tried to find something that the others were cleaning. we felt completely ignored and wanted to go straight when we were finally asked what do you want? we asked for a de-caff black coffee and a simple black coffee to which it was questioned what this is? the gentleman servinger did not seem to know what was a simple black coffee. until we have proposed an americano! then he always asked if we wanted milk. like another valet said they asked us to pay at the table when they brought the coffee, as if we were going to make a runner. I walk as they do when they are busy in summer or on a working day. the coffee was so strong. the only good point was the price, a lot of eating seemed expensive, but the coffee was reasonable.
