The staff... read more I stopped by for a quick drink before an event in Malton and was impressed by the small selection of real ales and variety of other drinks available. The staff were friendly and provided good service in a clean and comfortable environment. Chapter two has quickly become my go-to spot in Malton, whether I'm alone or with my dog and husband. Despite a busy day, the staff kept us informed about the wait time and were delightful. The ploughman's platter was delicious and came with a small glass of cider, while my husband raved about the nachos from the specials board.

After a recent refurbishment Chapter 2 has begun a new venture of providing lunch on a Sunday and my wife and I can heartily recommend it.
