I was reluctant to return since my first visit was underwhelm... read more This is my first time ever writing a Google review. I dined here for the 2nd time the other night. I was reluctant to return since my first visit was underwhelming. They have created a great atmosphere here and the staff is lovely. Though my experience with their food has been disappointing. For the price point, I expect a higher quality product than what I've received. My swordfish was okay, and the vegetables on the side were lacking any notable flavors. The other member of our party ordered the haddock or halibut, I believe, and she ended up sending it back. It was undercooked and also devoid of any flavor. The manager removed that meal from our check and handled everything gracefully. For an establishment that's been around as long as the Atlantic Grill, I expect a certain level of excellence. Based on all the five star reviews on here, it's possible that I've just caught them on a bad night. Unfortunately, I won't be returning here to see if the third time is the charm.

Britt... read more Not one to typically submit a review, I would be remiss not sharing the incredible experience my family and I had here at Atlantic Grill in Rye, NH today. Brittany (Asst. GM) greeted us and was incredibly accommodating to options for our seating. She even took the time to show my daughter the fish tank and shared wonderful relevant information about the restaurant and continued relationship with the Seacoast Science Center, which we had visited earlier in the day. She even took the time to check in with us both mid-meal and wished us well as we left. She left a lasting impression. Rita was our server, and I simply can’t say enough good things. She was knowledgeable about the menu, attentive to all of our needs and requests, was readily available, and she was an absolute delight to be around. We will be sure to request her for all future visits. Our meal was fresh, accurate, and honestly the best seafood we have had. The chilled seafood platter was without a doubt the best ever and will be a staple in our order. Thank you, Atlantic Grill! We cannot thank you enough for a wonderful experience!!

We had an amazing experience, the restaurant had all the tables decorated with candles and roses for Valentine’s Day, which also happens to be me and my husband... read more We had an amazing experience, the restaurant had all the tables decorated with candles and roses for Valentine’s Day, which also happens to be me and my husband’s wedding anniversary, which is why we were there celebrating. They left a sweet card from the staff congratulating us and thanking us for celebrating our event at their restaurant. The service we received from Brittany was outstanding and she gave me a rose before we left which was a sweet gesture. This is our new favorite place to go for our anniversary and look forward to our next visit!
