Had the brunch menu....pleased with menu selection. Not so much with execution. We ordered blueberry crepes, omelettes, and a BLT. The crepes themselves were done well...very little blueberry flavor. Truffle fries with pesto were crispy and delicious! Grits under cooked, pasty, and bland. I would still like to visit one more time to sample the regular menu. Service: Dine in
The service at this restaurant is excellent, but the quality of the food can be inconsistent. The hummus and moussaka were disappointing, but the red fish and burger were delicious. The atmosphere is too dark for dining. The prices range from $30 to $50 per person for dinner. Overall, the food gets a rating of 2, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4. Recommended dishes include the Wagyu Beef Burger and Truffle Fries.
Great little joint, good food, good atmosphere. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot
The food at this restaurant was fantastic. We started with the Tuna Nachos for our appetizer, and for our main course we enjoyed the Duck Club and Braised Beef Grilled Cheese. I gave it 4 stars because the Tuna Nachos were smaller than expected for the price, and there was a significant delay in service resulting in a 2-hour wait. Despite this, we would still return when in Ruston. The service was for dine-in.
We ended our weekend in Ruston at Trio’s for brunch. It was the first time for our local friends and us to try this place. It’s a cool little place with good brunch. Definitely recommend you get there early. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Nestled in a vibrant locale, this restaurant boasts a modern ambiance and friendly service, making it a notable dining destination. While the atmosphere is consistently praised, diners have experienced mixed results with the food quality. Standout dishes include the Trio of Hummus appetizer and shrimp etouffee, while some offerings, like the fish and brunch menu, have led to disappointment over pricing and portion sizes. Overall, the establishment excels in creating an inviting environment and providing attentive service, though diners may want to choose their dishes wisely to ensure a satisfying meal experience.

Great atmosphere, food, and drinks! I had never had a grilled salad before going here and OMG it has changed the way I see salads. It was delicious and my wife and I will be back soon!
Sat 7/16/22 My husband and I were one of 4 tables at 1:00 pm afternoon. One hostess, one waitress and 2 bartenders and our food took 55 minutes. One cheeseburger with fries fries were frozen bagged) one spaghetti with 2 small meatballs that would NOT have filled one cup measuring cup, with 2 sweet teas... 36 with tip. Both meals were portioned as kid sized meals on large plates. Will not return.
The waiters tend to forget what they had to do, like give drinks other than water, I?ve had to remind them constantly. The water tastes like very not clean water. But the surroundings are good, and my burger was red and to me I don?t like my burgers like that.
Best restaurant in Ruston. So glad we discovered this gem. The hostess/waitress, Scarlet was excellent. She took pride in every aspect of the restaurant and it showed. The atmosphere was perfect and nice background music. The food was superb as well as the drink menu. We were a group of 3 visiting from out of town. We had an appetizer, entrees, cocktails, and desserts. There was not one bad thing about our experience. Unfortunately, I discovered the restaurant on my last day there. My parents, however, may be in town for another week. I would not be surprised if they went back every day of there stay. They are looking forward to their Sunday Brunch. Thank you for a top notch experience!
We made reservations and was seated. We ordered two drinks from the bar and sat and waited for another 20 minutes the waitress came and apologized and said the bartender does not work well under pressure. The restaurant was only halfway occupied and the bartender spent the entire 20 minutes talking to different people at the bar. He may have made two drinks, and when I called the waitress over to my table she apologized and said she totally understood while we would leave so we left and drove to Monroe to eat at the warehouse. I will never go back.

While in Ruston for the peach festival, we stumbled upon Trios restaurant. After browsing their menu, we decided to dine there before heading to the festival. My wife ordered the black chicken quesadilla and I tried the Trio burger. Although the burger was nothing out of the ordinary, my wife absolutely loved her dish. She even mentioned that if we ever find ourselves in Ruston again, we will definitely be eating at Trios.
I gave 3 stars bc the atmosphere was great, very modern and clean. the waiter was very friendly and courteous the drinks were really good. I order a margarita and it was in front of the place, eating on the other side was not so great. the best we ate was the appetizer. (the baked feta) I ordered the crooked grouper it was so fish I couldn't eat it. my man ordered the garnelen andouille pasta, the garnelen was good, but the pasta sauce had no taste at all.
Olivia w was our waitress and she did a great job! Eating was in order, but the service was amazing and made the experience.
The dining experience was excellent, especially their salted caramel cheesecake. The service was top-notch and the ambiance was lovely.
We brought our guests from out of town to this restaurant multiple times in one week for both lunch and dinner. It's nice to have a more upscale dining option, with an atmosphere that is a welcome departure from what you would typically find in a small town. However, the food quality was inconsistent. The steak and sides were fantastic, but the bread items were disappointing. The tortillas for the tacos were stale, as were the pita for the gyros, and the pizza crust was inedible. The menu prices are too high considering the variability in food quality.

The Abita Shrimp Pasta is not worth $29. The spaghetti and meatballs had no sauce and the total bill came out to $96.
The kitchen at this restaurant was very disappointing as they sent out two burnt pizzas. They did not offer to discount the bill for the poor quality. Additionally, charging $14 for an espresso martini seems excessive, especially in a place like Ruston and not a city like NYC.
I would advise to watch your bill carefully at Trio's. Make sure to ask for prices on any extra charges or substitutions. In our case, I was charged a service fee even though I did not eat, making the table a party of 6. Additionally, they overcharged for drinks, including charging for 4 martinis at $7 each instead of the normal $14 for 2. They also split a 2 for 1 specialty drink deal between two tickets, no longer making it a deal. When we tried to ask questions for clarification, we were told we were being rude and upset the waitress. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to Trio's.
Food was excellent. We ordered the Tuna Nachos for the Appetizer and the Duck Club and the Braised Beef Grilled Cheese for our meal. Why the 4 stars?Tuna Nachos were about half the size they should have been for the price. There was also a huge backlog of orders and it ended up being there for 2 hours. We will definitely go there again when in Ruston.
Delicious food and drinks! Great service and atmosphere!

My first visit to this restaurant was a great experience!
Terrible ownership/management. Take your money to a place like Beau Vines with exceptional service and smiling faces while little Ms. Jenifer works on her attitude.
Hair in my food asked for the entire order to be replaced… would not replaced the meal. Spent 100.00 to eat hair
