I went to the restaurant in... read more I had a very disappointing experience at La Bamba Mexican. My order arrived an hour late, and when it did, it was completely wrong. I went to the restaurant in person to try and fix the issue, but the staff were unhelpful. The place was crowded with karaoke, but that doesn’t justify the mistakes. It’s not DoorDash’s fault if the wrong order is given to the delivery driver. If the restaurant is too busy to manage online orders properly, they shouldn’t accept them in the first place. It’s as simple as that.

Ihad the chance to meet the owners and they were very personable and fun to chat with. Would 100% recommend this place !

Secondly, I travel all over the country regularly and have never been to a Mexican restaurant thatdoesn?t even have chorizo on the menu. Very very disappointing. On top of that, my chimichanga had ground beef in it that tastedlike glorified Taco Bell at best. The salsa, which was super purée was very sweet. Do they put ketchup in it? There were alsoquite a bit of black specks in it which usually implies that it was roasted, but like I said, very sweet. It still had a littlespice and a very faint taste of cilantro (add more), so it was at least edible. The only reason for the second star is theserver was very attentive and took well care of me during my visit. Short of that it was a very disappointing visit.

All wanting different stuff but our waiter was right on top of it. He knew who each plate went to. The food was great and hadplenty to carry some home. Kept us in chips and salsa. The only thing we did not like was that they were out of fried ice cream.Actually out of any ice cream. The grandkids were looking forward to that after eating their dinner. But we won't fault them forbeing out of something. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed everything!
