I ordered a medium hot fudg... read more I was very disappointed with this small ice cream shop. The staff were exceptionally rude, and the milkshakes were as thin as water! I ordered a medium hot fudge sundae, and when the employee asked if I wanted whipped cream and nuts, I said no. She then gave me just a single scoop of ice cream with hot fudge on top and proceeded to make a fuss about it with her coworkers. The employees were very disrespectful and unprofessional.

There was a sign in the window indicating that they were e... read more This place is serving melted ice cream! My kids have always loved Eskamoe’s, but today was different. There was a sign in the window indicating that they were experiencing air conditioning issues and that the custard might be soft. There were five of us, and when our order wasn’t being called, we went up to the counter only to find three of our five items just sitting there, melting (ice cream and snow cones). When our order was finally ready, we were handed five melted items. If there are issues with the AC or freezer, it's best to close until they can be repaired. The Mailman certainly didn’t deliver today!

The employees are always very nice and kind. I always order a medium shaved ice wild cherry light on syrup and they always fix it exactly how I like. The prices are very reasonable so I always have my $2.01 ready unless I order a large then $2.97. It?s the best I have found. I get my shaved ice and park across the street at the park I consider that my ?metime?. ????

I brought my two youn... read more Today, I ventured around Ruston in search of some shaved ice with cream—it's been a summer favorite of mine for as long as I can remember. I brought my two youngest kids along, and my little boy had the exciting opportunity to go inside the shop and make all three of our snow cones himself. He was over the moon! It was really generous of the gentleman there (I regret not catching his name) to give him that chance. My son can't stop talking about it! This place is truly wonderful for families. Thank you for bringing a little extra joy to my son's day! #BoyMom

Man Eskamoe's is great! The service is quick and everyone who works there is very friendly. I have been longing for a frozen custard place to come to Ruston and Eskamoe's has filled that void! The area that Eskamoe's is located in a very nice development with a lot of outdoor seating and a gas fire pit. Compared to the other places ice cream places Eskamoe's is really inexpensive. If you go to Maggie Moo's and buy for two people you could easily spend $8-10 but at Eskamoe's me and my wife can eat for under $5.

I was especially impressed by how well the vanilla custard complements one of the 33 flavors available. The menu offers a broad range of dishes, allowing you to enjoy a complete meal before treating yourself to their amazing custard. Just a quick note: there’s a walk-up counter or a drive-thru option, and while there are outdoor tables, there is no indoor seating.

I've been to other ice cream shops in town like Maggie Moo's and TCBY before they transformed into Smoothie King and Baskin-Robbins, and I've also sampled Skidocope before it shut down. While Maggie Moo's is quite expensive and their staff wasn't very welcoming, the other three locations have now closed, leaving us with this fantastic ice cream haven at Eskamoes. I tried the caramel custard, which isn’t even on the menu, and it was absolutely delicious! If you're a fan of sweet and salty combinations, this is the perfect treat for you. I also had the cotton candy ice cream, and it was wonderfully rich and creamy. For those of you looking for healthier options, the health concrete is a great choice, and even the apple ice dish was a pleasant surprise. If you stop by, I highly recommend starting with the Brezel Caramel Custard!

It didn’t have a robust chocolate flavor. My wife ordered a vanilla waffle cone, which she liked. However, their custard isn't as rich as what we've had at other places. While it wasn't bad, it also didn't leave a lasting impression. We're not against returning, but there's nothing particularly enticing that draws me back either.
