As seniors, we have not dined together in over 15 months due to Covid, so we were quite nervous about eating indoors. The lady in charge came out to welcome us with a smile and assured us that we could have as much space as needed. This put us at ease. The young man who served us was incredibly helpful and polite. We were impressed by the extensive menu and the perfect, generous portions of food. Most of the other customers seemed to be regulars and appeared pleased with the service. I have written several reviews on Trip Advisor, and this experience at Poppins is by far the best. Thank you so much to the staff at Poppins for a wonderful dining experience. - Jeremy

The service was top-notch, and the staff were very friendly. The menu offered a variety of delicious options, including tempting desserts for those with a sweet tooth.

With seating for around 50 people, the café has a welcoming atmosphere that caught my eye from the street. The staff were friendly and my apple slice with cream and ice cream, along with my cappuccino with a frothy top, were delicious and served exactly as requested. However, I found the selection of cakes to be somewhat limited. The café seems to specialize more in breakfast and main meals, offering a wide variety of choices. Access to the café is convenient and there are modern restrooms available. Overall, a pleasant discovery!

I waited over half an hour for a drink, and when I politely asked how long it would be until the drink would arrive as I felt sick, I was then aggressively shouted at across the cafe by the woman. A horrendous way to treat a person, let alone someone who was pregnant! Nonetheless I haven’t been back, and haven’t missed it. Much better cafes in Aldershot.

We both ordered a baguette which was a good choice, really fresh tasty. I'm very particular about coffee can honestly say they provided a great tasting coffee. My friend had hot chocolate loved it so much she suggested I taste it. Quality tasting. Staff friendly helpful.
