I visited this restaurant for their usual large cod and chips, which I usually enjoy. However, when I got home and opened the meal, I noticed that the fish looked and smelled different. After taking a bite, it was obvious that it was a cheaper alternative to cod and did not meet my expectations. The taste was not good, and it was clear from the batter that it was not cod. I was very disappointed, and as a result, they have lost me as a customer. It's unfortunate because they have been good in the past.
Excellent fish and chip shop. They only accept cash, but you can also pay via bank transfer (BACS) while you're there.
The fish is fresh, fries are great, and the meal comes with free extras (lemon and sauces). Also, the decorations are great! Me and my son come here all the time. Highly recommend.
