Radcliffe Fish - Rushcliffe
Radcliffe Fish
Description
Nestled in Radcliffe, this chip shop offers a mixed dining experience. While some patrons rave about the freshly cooked fish and gluten-free options, others lament the consistently poor quality of the chips, often soggy and lacking flavor. Service can be hit-or-miss, with reports of incorrect orders and unhelpful staff. Despite its loyal customers who appreciate the homemade tartar sauce and decent portion sizes, many express frustration over overpriced, underfilled kebabs and overall ineptitude. As the community hopes for improvement, a call for better management and a commitment to quality remains paramount for this establishment's future success.

Very dissappointing. Had a large cod and small chips and a doner kebab. Cost £18.20p which I thought was a bit expensive but worth it if the quality of the food was good. It wasn't. Large fish was two small fish that, even when put together, weren't anywhere near a large portion. Chips were overcooked, mushy, and stuck to the paper so much you had a job to scrape them off. Definitely were not freshly cooked even in the previous few hours. Kebab was most dissappointing of all. £7.50p for a small pitta bread in which the meat portion was so small it didn't even make a bulge in the pitta nor reach the top of the pocket. Looked as wide as a sausage roll. Was like a childs portion. Meat wasn't recently carved and was dry and nearly tasteless as if it had been lying in the container for a day or two. Definitely worst chip shop i've been in for a long while Food: 1 Service: 3
£7.10 for a small chips, Jumbo plane sausage and large gravy is just too much. Loverly people, but not worth it. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £1–10 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
I've just started to get our Friday night supper from here, we live in tollerton but well worth the extra few miles, all the food is absolutely beautiful, the cod is done to perfection, the chips are gorgeous and the right colour nice and golden, not anaemic looking, we'll be having chippy more often, Dale Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
