What Sadiki Lestrade likes about Merengue Restaurant and Catering:
Merengues as a food destination has been on my list for quite some time now, and I'm pleased to say I was not disappointed in the slightest . Once you walk in, you feel right at home with the neighborhood energy and charm. Decorum is creative; I'm pretty sure there's a moped hanging from the ceiling . The food was wonderful, with old-school portions that left you feeling full with extra to food to take home. We didn'... View all feedback. What Alex martinez doesn't like about Merengue Restaurant and Catering:
I indulged in their breakfast offering, which is remarkably hearty—essentially a dinner masquerading as a morning meal. The menu featured an enticing blend of mashed plantain, salami, and fried white cheese, all beautifully accented by sautéed red onions. Both the price and value are unparalleled, making it a must-visit for those seeking an unforgettable dining experience. View all feedback.

read moreMerengues restaurant offers a truly authentic taste of the Caribbean, specifically Dominican cuisine. Despite some service issues, the overall experience is exceptional thanks to the outstanding food. The breakfast options are hearty and delicious, providing great value for the price. The menu features traditional dishes that will impress even those with Caribbean roots, with the salami y queso and steak being highly recommended. The atmosphere is inviting, filled with charm and cultural elements that transport diners to the islands. The food portions are generous, ensuring a satisfying meal with leftovers to take home. While parking and a few minor issues with the bathroom exist, the overall experience at Merengues is one that is highly recommended and worth the visit, even if it means a bit of a drive.
