The food was really tasty, especially the filled zucchini and the warm carrot cake. Service was incredibly attentive, funny and spoke English/German.

I had the stir fry veget... read more Lovely location in the woods/countryside. The waiter is very nice and will show you the vegan options contained in the vegetarian menu. I had the stir fry vegetables with noodles (actually not from the vegetarian menu but he confirmed the dish is vegan) and the tofu with polenta. The noodles were ok, maybe a little too much sweet sour sauce. The tofu was amazing, even if smoked which I usually don't like (and it wasn't written on the menu) the taste was balances, it was a little like smoked fish, very good texture. The polenta was grilled perfectly. Cheap for the town (I pais about 70 euros for 4 dishes, wine and water) . I will surely come back when I'm in Rovinj. It's sad that they can't veganize the cawliflower steak because of the yogurt cream. I had the stuffed zucchini without cheese, it was good (I was afraid it was gonna be the Greek style with overbooiled rice, but actually it was perfectly cooked) but I do miss some protein, maybe some soy yogurt or beans. A few minutes by car on a gravel road and you are facing this nice restaurant with inside and outside seating on a terrace or in the garden. All service personnel was very very friendly and helpful. One of the rare restaurants in the region with explicit vegan/vegetarian food on the menu. Food came quickly and was handmade with mostly local ingredients. Everything tasted great.
